2015 Art Contest Winner Announced!

A couple of months ago (March 13, 2015), we thought it would be fun to host an art contest for the purposes of generating some new libertarian artwork, networking and more. We were a little worried that it might be a tough sell, seeing how we’re a pretty new website. But we were really pleased with the response we received, and are now happy to announce our winner for the Adult and Youth Category (see the details of the contest here). If you missed out this year, don’t worry – we’re planning on hosting another art contest next year! A big “thank you” goes out to those individuals who contributed their unique libertarian themed art for this contest!

Adult Category 1st Place Winner!

Mr. Ben Garrison writes that, “I’m not really enamored with Rand like I was with his father…I still hold a slight grudge due to Rand endorsing Romney (see “Romney Cleans Up” cartoon at left)….but he still claims he wants to audit the Fed as well as challenge the assaults on our civil liberties so I decided to draw this ‘positive’ cartoon (above) of him as the presidential race begins. To me, ending the Federal Reserve and getting the money printing power out of private hands is critical. I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt if he continues to come out strongly against the NSA, NDAA and continue to push the Fed audit, etc. etc. We’ll see.” See more of Mr. Garrison’s work here at Grrrgraphics.com!

Youth Category 1st Place Winner!

J.S., a ten year old who recently submitted this winning entry, writes in regard to this awesome artwork that, “it’s a scary storm that rains down lots of tax money to power a big government bulldozer and helicopters burying and blowing away the rights of free people. See the libertarians in the tower?” Great job J.S.!
